FAQ’s Frequently Asked Questions

Q - Is your Mechanical Bull a “real” Mechanical Bull?

A - Yes it is.  But many times when people ask if our Mechanical bull is “real” they usually mean is like the one we saw in Gilley’s on Urban Cowboy. The Bull that John Travolta rode in Urban Cowboy was a hydraulic mechanical bull, as opposed to the new electric mechanical bulls of today. As you can imagine, Mechanical Bulls have come along way in the past 30 years since the days of Urban Cowboy.  Many safety features have been implemented to give the rider an exciting yet safe ride. The electric Bull that we operate is manufactured by VIV and has factory programmed settings that prevent the Bull from executing dangerous moves. Since 99% of our riders are NOT professional bull riders, after more than 15 years of operating Mechanical Bulls for all types of crowds, we have determined that electric bulls are the safest and most exciting ride for most people in a special event setting.

Q - Are you really located in Las Vegas?

A -
Yes, we are really located in Las Vegas and have been for the past 8 years. We are located at 6145 South Valley View Blvd., Suite #A, Las Vegas, Nevada 89118. This is important because as the largest game rental company based in Las Vegas we know our way around the city and most importantly, we know the different requirements of the casino properties in Las Vegas. You will never get the call that our truck broke down 200 miles outside of Las Vegas and we won’t be able to do your event. (Or that we forgot something back at our office 300 miles away).

Q - Why are you so much less expensive than other companies who offer Mechanical Bull’s in Las Vegas?

A -
To the best of our knowledge, we are the only Mechanical Bull for event rentals that is actually based in Las Vegas. That makes a huge difference when it comes to cost. Many companies claim to be in Las Vegas, but actually aren’t. They either call us or they truck their Mechanical Bull in and put their staff up in hotels and pay per diem, etc... How do they justify the higher cost, by telling you that “you get what you pay for”. That’s true when it comes to bringing in an out of state company... You get to pay for fuel, hotel rooms, and per diem, all included in the cost of the rental. When it comes to quality, we are the preferred game rental company for most of the major casinos and top event planners in Las Vegas.

Q - Are you insured?

A -
Excellent question! Yes we are insured. The second question you should ask is the rating of the insurance company. The third question you should ask is how much is the coverage. Finally, you should ask if you will be named as additional insured on the policy. In a recent development, most of the top casino properties here in town now require $3,000,000.00 in liability insurance as well as the property being named additionally insured before they will let a vendor provide any service on their property. We are already an approved vendor for every major casino property in town with our $3,000,000.00 additional insured certificates on file from our “A-Rated” insurance company. We provide additional insured certificates to our clients for no additional charge.

Q – How long does it take to setup?

A - It takes about an hour and a half to get the Bull into the party location, setup, test and clean, to be ready to ride.

Q - How much room do you need for the Bull?

A - The Bull setup Dimensions: is 20’ in diameter.

Q - How much power does it need?

A - It takes a 20 amp and a 10-amp 110v circuit to keep this bad boy up and going.

Q – Does it come with an attendant?

A - Yes it does come with a highly skilled operator.

Q - Do you offer Mechanical Bulls nationwide like the other companies I see on the internet?

A -
We offer our Mechanical Bull in states bordering Nevada. Anything beyond that is just not cost effective for the client. The other thing that “nationwide” companies who list that they have offices in every major city do is broker out a Mechanical Bull operator in that city. We don’t do that. Unless we personally know the level of quality of a Mechanical Bull operator, we don’t broker. We get calls from those types of brokers periodically trying to grind us down on price. We do not discount for these types of companies. Trust me, when it comes to a Mechanical Bull, you don’t want the lowest bidder!

Q - Can we ride more than one person on the bull at a time?

A -
No.  What makes mechanical bulls so exciting is that they provide a radical ride for the rider will eventually is thrown off and lands on an inflatable air mattress.  Landing on your friend would not make for such a fun ride.

Q - Will I get thrown off the Bull?  If so, onto what?

A -
The answer is yes, you will most likely be thrown off. 99% of the riders are thrown off the bull since the program gets progressively harder the longer you stay on. In certain cases the Mechanical Bull operator will stop the Bull at a certain point in the program and allow the rider to get off on their own. These cases are usually reserved for elderly guests or small children who appear to be scared. When you are thrown off you will land on an inflatable air mattress that will catch your fall.

Q - Do you offer anything other than Mechanical Bulls?

A -
We do. We are a full service game rental company that offers everything from Western Games to Casino Nights to Pool Tables, Photo Booths, NASCAR Simulators, and Arcade Games. As a full service game rental company we are fully insured and fully staffed to meet all of your game rental needs.
